Our Tipis, also known as Kåtas, originate from Sweden so have been designed to brave the elements, all year round. Being Tentipi® Nordic Tipis, they are based upon the traditional design principles of the Sami Kåta, using the latest materials and construction techniques. As a result, they’re atmospheric, spacious, versatile and perfect for those of you looking for Tipis to hire with a little more character than your traditional white marquee.

All Timber is Not Equal

With the option to raise the sides of our largest Tipis, which is where they get their name ‘Giant Hat’ from, they can be opened right up in the summer, incorporating gardens into the Tipis or simply to admire panoramic views. On the other hand, they work equally well in the winter months (or in those not so warm British summer ones!) closed down to create a cosy environment with a fireplace working well as a centrepiece. We also have slightly smaller Tipis to hire, known as Kungsörnens which are also perfect for a cosy, intimate, relaxed bar area and add a really unique, quirky space when joined to a series of larger Giant Hat Tipis.

We can’t thank Andy, Becky and the whole Tentario team enough for helping to make our Wedding Day so magical. The Tipis were breathtaking and so different to anything else we’d considered; we received countless compliments on the day and they proved a real talking point for all our guests.
