Alternatively, if none of the above licensed venues float your boat, how about having a humanist ceremony/blessing performed by a celebrant? You could either have this in the Tipis or in an area outside them. Think under a tree with hay bales and a flower arch – creating a super relaxed vibe perfectly in keeping with your Tipi wedding! This also gives you the flexibility of choosing the venue you want and not being restricted to those with licenses for a civil ceremony and meaning you can have your entire day all in one place, just as you had in mind. If you decided to go down this route, you would need to arrange for the legal, civil ceremony to take place before your Tipi wedding day at either a Registry Office or at a venue with a civil license. You could make it an intimate affair with just the two of you and some of your closest friends and family. Having a celebrant perform your humanist ceremony also means you can work with the celebrant to create unique, individual vows, personal to you meaning your day is EVEN MORE special! If you would like any suggestions on celebrants, let us know and we can send some over to you.
